Professional Biography 

Dr. Letian Chen worked as postdoctoral fellow in NAIST from 2003 to 2010 in Japan, and filled a professor position in the SCAU in late 2010. He has severed as the Dean of the College of Life Sciences, SCAU since the end of 2019. Prof. Chen’s lab now focuses on plant reproductive biology, especially the molecular mechanisms for cytoplasmic male sterility, hybrid sterility and fertility restoration in rice.
