主要从事水稻育性和水稻高产高光效方面的研究。利用基因工程的方法,克隆高产高光效相关的基因,培育高产高光效水稻品种。克隆了一批与水稻发育相关的重要调控基因,分析了它们的生物学功能,首次揭示了水稻AGO蛋白(OsAGO2)调控花药发育的表观遗传调控机制。相关成果发表的论文曾入选Web of Science为 “高被引论文”。以第一作者/通讯作者发表学术论文多篇,包括国际顶级期刊PNASNew phytologist, Plant physiology等高水平论文,获得国家授权发明专利多项。

    主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目,广东省基础与应用基础研究基金区域联合基金,学院高层次引进人才启动项目,博士后面上基金,博士后特别资助等;主要参加国家自然科学基金面上项目,广东省基础与应用基础研究基金区域联合基金(重点项目)等多项。

研究方向

(1)水稻光合作用调控机理分析

利用基因工程的方法,克隆高产高光效相关的基因,阐明其分子机制,通过基因编辑的方法培育高产高光效水稻品种。

(2)水稻表观遗传调控的研究

隆水稻育性、叶片衰老相关的基因,分析其表观遗传调控的分子机理,创制产量提高、延缓衰老水稻创新种质,实现其在水稻生产中的应用。
